The Historic City Of Savannah, Georgia

During a trip to Patrick AFB, FL on business I was able to steal away for the weekend and drive up to Savannah to visit with friends and take in a few sights while strolling around the city.

Twin steeples as viewed through the trees from one of the many squares the city is noted for.
Something as simple as a drain spout is not really "simple" when it has been dressed up with an ornate iron fish at its base. Just one of the numerous touches that make Savannah so amazing. A spouting nymph adorned with an evergreen garland for the holidays; part of the Forsyth Park Fountain.
The steeple of the Independent Presbyterian Church as viewed from the corner walkway.
The sun creates a silouhette of a statue high atop a pedestal along the promanade in Forsyth Park.
