Trip To Barbuda!

Passengers line the rails to take in the view of the prestine waters and beautiful sandy beaches of Barbuda (Antigua's sister island).
Along the shoreline there are cozy little sanctuaries like this for people to come and relax. These are typically created by the tour companies that provide day trips to the island.

Here's out boat, the Excellence, anchored along the pink sands of Barbuda. There are finely ground pieces of pink shells mixed with the sand which create a pinkish hue to the beach as the waves lap against the shore.
The Antigua & Barbuda flag at the rear of the boat is fully stretched in the tropical breeze as we depart our first stop.
Our service staff was so accomodating; they even delivered our drinks to the beach so we didn't have to re-board the boat to go to the bar. The vibrant color of the Rum Punch stands out against the light sand, aqua-marine water and vivid blue sky! And it was tasty too!
