Dickinson Bay Sunset - Sunday, 11 May 08

Dickinson Bay always provides an ideal opportunity to capture some wonderful sunsets! Even though the following photos were all taken within 30 minutes of one another you can see how the sun constantly changes in color and intensity as it sets.
A random tourist silhouetted in the sun's reflection while walking along the shore.
A beautiful orange color was cast across the sky during a portion of the final lowering of the sun.
As the sun makes it's way even closer to the horizon the oranges are exchanged for hues of pink, mauve and lavender.
This beach sign seems to find it's way into many of my photos of sunsets taken from this location. This is directly in front of Sneaky Pete's Beach Bar.
